The Top Secret Midge is a confidence pattern in many fly boxes. Black and Purple are great additions any time of year. Here's the recipe we like:
- Hook: Scud Hook, Sizes 18-24
- Body: Thread, Color to match (original color is brown)
- Rib: White, 6/0
- Wing: Glamour Medeira, we like the color to match the body (original color is white or pearl). The best place to get this is at craft stores.
- Thorax: Superfine Dubbing, color to match body (original color is rust)
