Boris Popov built a beautiful cabin on Andersen Island, located close to Cordova (but far enough off of the beaten path that you probably won't see another person, just eagles, otters, seals and lots of salmon).

He rents the cabin to "do it yourself, independent fly fishermen" at very reasonable rates. Boris has a couple of skiffs that you can use to access a variety of rivers, plus some saltwater fishing too (Salmon, Halibut, Rock Fish, Yellow Eye). If you enjoy self-guided fly fishing, this is definitely a place to look into.
