All Dry Flies - Chubby Chernobyl - Pteronarcys

- Code: D-CCGN
-
Price as low as:
$1.66
- Quantity in Basket: none
The Chubby Chernobyl is a big improvement on a Chernobyl Ant, adding a bouyant and highly visible wing to a fly that already catches tons of fish.
This fly is used to imitate a hopper, stonefly and skwalla. It is also fished as an attractor pattern.
This fly is a great choice of fly to use as a hopper dropper, since it can easily float most tungsten bead nymphs.

All Dry Flies - Pale Morning Dun

- Code: D-PMDU
-
Price as low as:
$1.61
- Quantity in Basket: none
Despite it's name, the pale morning dun can hatch in the morning, the afternoon or evening. It is very common on most western waters, and trout really key in on this mayfly when it starts to move. Take several varieties of the PMD, because trout can be very selective, shunning one variety, while eagerly taking another.

All Dry Flies - Parachute Trico

- Code: D-PTRC
-
Price as low as:
$1.64
- Quantity in Basket: none
The Trico Mayfly (Tricorythodes Minutus) vary in size from #18 to #24. Males emerge in the evening, and spend the night in a local shrub along the river. Females hatch in the morning, and become spinners within several hours. While the females hatch, the males molt into spinners, forming a massive cloud of flying trout food. Trout will begin to feed on these tiny mayflies as they fall to the water, the females to lay eggs, the males, spent. The trick to catching fish during the trico hatch is to cast your fly in the exact feeding lane of a trout. Because of the sheer abundance of available food, rising trout will seldom move laterally to eat. Use 6x or smaller tippet.

All Dry Flies - Crystal Stimulator - Yellow

- Code: D-CRSTY
-
Price as low as:
$1.90
- Quantity in Basket: none
There are arguably only 2 dry fly patterns you need to be successful...and the Stimulator is one of them. Randall Kaufmann created one of the best known attractor patterns we know of. A stonefly, terrestrial, moth...regardless, it gets eaten all day long. Add some flash to that and you have an easier to see version.
