With its closed-cell foam body, antron wing and dun cut hackle, the XB Hex is almost unsinkable and nearly indestructible. But, on any given day, the fish will have the final word on that claim!

    Hexagenia, also known as the Michigan Caddis or Hex mayfly hatches occur mainly in the mid-west, but can be found in some eastern and western rivers. Beginning in June and extending through September, this mayfly hatches after dark, except on cloudy days where it might hatch a few hours before dusk.
