The Purple Amy's Ant is a very effective fly to use when there is no obvious hatch. This fly will bring fish up from the deep to grab this easy to see dry fly. Trail this fly with a Jiggy CDC Flashback Pheasant Tail Tungsten Bead, for even better success!

The Comparadun Style of wing, from underneath (you know...the fish perspective from below!) looks just like a mayfly with it's wings lowered. The tail makes it look like the nymph is crawling out of its exoskeleton, and to a trout, this means they need to grab that fly right now!

The Chubby Chernobyl is a big improvement on a Chernobyl Ant, adding a bouyant and highly visible wing to a fly that already catches tons of fish.
This fly is used to imitate a hopper, stonefly and skwalla. It is also fished as an attractor pattern.
This fly is a great choice of fly to use as a hopper dropper, since it can easily float most tungsten bead nymphs.
