The evolution of the Chernobyl started with the addition of poly wings (the Chubby Chernobyl), then continued with increasing the size, adding more foam (the Double Chubby), and now going smaller. The Stubby Chubby is fun to fish. It is great trailed behind a bigger Chernobyl. Or, it can be tied to imitate smaller insects. The Yellow Sally is an example. The Stubby is still buoyant enough to support a smaller dropper. We find that Chubb Dub really helps because this smaller fly compared to using ice dubbing.
