One of the original pearlescent chenille designs since 2001, Estaz continues to be a highly desirable, uniquely constructed product line known for its outstanding brightness and durability. The Standard size is 15mm diameter. There are opal colors dyed over a pearlescent . Standard colors which are over a clear and UV colors over a clear 2.5 yards.

Vernille or "Ultra Chenille": Cascade was the first supplier to offer this velvet yarn. The main ingredient for San Juan worms. Over the years it has been used as chenille, extended or "wiggle" bodies, and is tough and durable. Small is 1mm and Medium is 2mm.

The viscosity of this formula is thick enough to build up fly heads as well as thin enough to spread and coating bodies and wing cases. The bottle has a tapered tip that allows you to trim it the opening size you prefer.

SEMPERFLI Tying Wire 0.1mm (Extra Fine) is an ultrafine fly tying wire, non tarnishing and can be used for even smallest dry flies. Our Wire 0.1mm is very small and fine just 0.1mm or 0.004 inch diameter and ultra light weight. It is part of our large range of wire colors suitable for most flies from March Brown to Mayfly patterns.
Our spools have a removeable cap to re-trap the wire once you have removed a section to tie your flies.
Rather than cutting simply wiggle in a helicopter motion and it will break saving damage to your scissors
There are 30m / 32.8 yards (approx) per spool of Wire 0.1mm.

Designed to imitate natural Peacock Herl, Semperfli Synthetic Peacock Herl is a fritz / chenille which contains all the iridescents that you find in natural Peacock Herl...accents of blue, green, copper and gold highlight and change in different lighting conditions just like natural Peacock Herl.
Peacock herl has been used for many years as a fly tying material. With its stunning iridescence, fly tyers love the way the colors change as you look at this amazing material. Because of recent CITES restrictions on natural herl, the Semperfli team decided to create a synthetic peacock herl that would reflect different colors. This new synthetic material has black, blue and green backgrounds and different colored tinsels embedded. Built on a tight core, this synthetic is designed to mimic peacock’s natural iridescence and color changing properties as light hits different parts of the herl. With this synthetic herl you can cover the hook very quickly with simple wraps to create perfect alternative to Peacock Herl without the concern that your Peacock Herl will snap mid fly.
This synthetic peacock herl is available in Extra Small (2mm) and Small (4mm).
When SemperFli worked on the prototypes of this product, samples were sent to some of their pro team for testing. They received exciting feedback. Hans van Klinken immediately used it as the thorax of his Klinkhamer and told us its absolutely great, awesome for Klinkhamer 2.0 for size 12 and larger flies. You will see it in his book when it is released!

Semperfli Slush Fibres are micro thin fibres and when tied give and amazing slush puppy ice drink like look to the EggStatic. Our Slush-Fibres are built into the core which produce fibres that are translucent, allowing light to travel through the egg/blobb. Great movement also. This is our go-to thread for hot spots! Classic Waxed Thread 18/0 is part of the Semperfli 18/0 30 denier range of Classic Waxed Threads (CWT) which have been designed specifically for fly tying for midges and all micro flies. Classic Waxed Thread 18/0 is usually used on hook sizes 14 to 32. Classic Waxed Thread 18/0 threads are unique; laying flat with a two core construction but can easily be split to create dubbing loops and they are strong threads. We worked with our Pro Team to get the correct amount of wax on each thread to hold materials but not clog your bobbin holder. Having developed and manufactured their own computerised spooling machinery, Classic Waxed Thread 18/0 is put onto the spool with touching turns in totally level traverse to prevent a birds nest of thread when tying flies!
Semperfli created the highest quality polyester tying thread that you can have complete confidence in for your fly tying. With Classic Waxed Thread 18/0 you get complete color consistency with every batch.

This is the perfect wool for the Killer Bug classic pattern from nymph expert and legendary river keeper Frank Sawyer. This fly pattern still doesn’t disappoint, but if you follow Sawyer’s tying instruction, the killer or (grayling) bug as it was originally named, could and should only be tied with one brand and shade of wool, Chadwick’s No 477. At Semperfli we have a card of the original Chadwicks 477 which we used a blend of wools to match dry and particularly wet with our substitute as we developed it. Now this is one of the most accurate Chadwicks 477 substitutes available. Remember the Killer bug pattern that may be one of the most simple flies ever tied, tie it with Semperfli Chadwicks 477 Substitute!
