A new synthetic fiber that is even finer than arctic fox with NO under fur. Can be used for streamer wings, spey flies and dubbing. Fiber length is approximately 4" Comes in a 12 inch hank . Super fine diameter. Do not cut, just grab a small length approximately 4 inches and pull apart. It has a "Self Tapering" effect.

Faux Tails: Faux Fox fibers and a small amounts of Pearl Angel Fibers spun onto two strands of .050 Stainless wire. Faux Tails can be incorporated into a number of patterns. Faux Fox is a super undulating fiber that sinks quickly but will shed water in a few false casts. The tail can be wound or palmered for full body flies and a small 3 inch strip makes a unbelievable swimming tail. Replace zonker strips on your streamers and poppers. Each package contains 2 18" long tails.

Finn Raccoon. This masterclass in quality is ready to be swung through the river awaiting an aggressive steelhead or stripped across your favorite flat of feeding bones or permit. This highly prized fur is soft with lots of movement. The longer guard hairs put the movement over the top. Use this for wings or even tails. We find ourselves reaching for this material for any fy that calls for fox. NOTE: This is real Finn Raccoon from Northern Finland. The real full cold weather fur.
