SEMPERFLI Tying Wire 0.2mm (Fine) is a fly tying wire, non tarnishing and perfect for chironomids or buzzers and nymphs and as ribs on salmon flies and streamers. Measuring 0.2mm or 0.008 inch diameter the non tarnishing means it can even be used in saltwater.
Our spools have a removeable cap to re-trap the wire once you have removed a section to tie your flies.
Rather than cutting simply wiggle in a helicopter motion and it will break, saving damage to your scissors

Weighted flies often help us get quickly to where fish are, especially in fast currents. SemperFli Lead Wire is a round high grade lead wire which comes on a spool and can be used extensively to weigh down flies, making ribs etc especially nymphs.

Exposure to lead during pregnancy can affect brain development and cause learning and behavior problems for the child. Weighted flies often help us get quickly to where fish are, especially in fast currents. Our Lead Free Heavy Weighted Wire is easy to wrap around the hook in one or more layers for example to build up a shrimp body profile. Non toxic Lead Free Heavy Weighted Wire is much better for the environment.
Lead Free Heavy Weighted Wire has a density of about 60% that of lead so is still heavy enough to get your fly to where you want to fish on rivers and stillwaters but still perfectly moldable for shape to get the profile you want.

SEMPERFLI Tying Wire 0.1mm (Extra Fine) is an ultrafine fly tying wire, non tarnishing and can be used for even smallest dry flies. Our Wire 0.1mm is very small and fine just 0.1mm or 0.004 inch diameter and ultra light weight. It is part of our large range of wire colors suitable for most flies from March Brown to Mayfly patterns.
