Midge Nymphs & Emergers - Jiggy Lightning Bug - Gold TB
- Code: N-JLBG
- Quantity in Basket: none
Price as low as:
$1.98
Created by Larry Graham, the Lightning Bug Nymph can be used as a searching nymph, but will probably draw more strikes when used as a Pale morning dun emerger. Either way, this is an excellent nymph to fly fish with.
By tying this fly with a tungsten bead, the fly sinks quickly, where big trout prefer to feed, and the jig hook helps keep the fly from hooking the bottom of the river.
Bead/Hook Sizes:
#8, 10 & 12 hook: 3.8 mm Slotted Tungsten Bead |
#18 hook: 2.2 mm Slotted Tungsten Bead |
#14 hook: 3.3 mm Slotted Tungsten Bead |
#20 hook: 2.0 mm Slotted Tungsten Bead |
#16 hook: 2.8 mm Slotted Tungsten Bead |
#22 hook: 1.5 mm Slotted Tungsten Bead |
