Mayfly Nymphs & Emergers - Zug Bug - Bead Head
- Code: N-BZUGB
- Quantity in Basket: none
Price as low as:
$1.49
Cliff Zug created this pattern as a Caddis imitation. The Zug Bug is a classic representation of a cased caddis that fishes equally well as an attractor, and has been used to imitate a mayfly nymph. A Peacock bodied pattern with a soft hackle collar is an incredible stillwater pattern that likely represents a Dragonfly or Damsel.

Mayfly Nymphs & Emergers - Jiggy Quilldigon - Purple
- Code: N-JQPR
- Quantity in Basket: none
Price as low as:
$1.98
Quills provide natural segmention without any need for additional materials. That helps this fly stay sleek and sink quick. Well played, Mr Olsen. Like Perdigons in general, this fly has nothing to stop it from dropping to the bottom and resembling the size and silhouette of just about any mayfly nymph. The old adage states "if your nymph isn't getting stuck, you're not fishing where you should be" The Jiggy series uses a 60 degree jig hook, allowing the angler to fish the fly directly on the bottom where nymphs live. Increased drifts without hanging up on the bottom is the biggest advantage this style nymph offers. This orientation also helps with a more positive hook up, typically pinning the fish top dead center allowing a faster and safer release!

Mayfly Nymphs & Emergers - Copper J - Green BH Rubberleg
- Code: N-COJGR
- Quantity in Basket: none
Price as low as:
$1.56
The Copper J (compare to a Copper John) is a combination of three very effective nymph patterns, the prince nymph, the brassie, and the pheasant tail. The rubber legs on this fly add another element of realism to this very effective nymph. The pattern is very effective, and has become just as popular as any other nymph that we sell. The most common way to fish this nymph is to tie it on behind a hopper pattern.
