    Jiggy Hook Nymphs are tied on Daiichi Black Nickel MK-JIG barbless Jig Hooks, and are heavily weighted with a Tungsten Bead (This is the TB in the name of the fly). These hooks have a tendency to drift with the point facing upwards, so aren't as likely to snag the bottom of the river, and the tungsten bead gets the fly deep quickly, where the big fish are waiting!

    These nymphs are particularly effective when fishing a "Euro Nymph" set-up, but also fish great underneath a strike indicator!

    The hook profile of a jig hook includes a hook gap that is typically larger than the gap of a standard nymph hook. Therefore, a #20 jig hook nymph will be appear larger than a #20 standard nymph hook although the shank lengths are very similar.
