Mr Daniel is one of the OGs in the competition world. He has since focused more of his time on teaching and passing along his knowledge the the next generation. His flies are simple, quick to tie, and they hook loads of fish. Jigged streamers -- if you haven't tried them -- are deadly. By either adding a bit of movement during the dirft (tap your rod with your forefinger) or by just letting your rig swing out, this simple fly of chickabou will entice fish that might look past a big streamer but are looking for a meal bigger than a size 22 equivalent.
