Fly Tying Materials

The 535 is a heavy jig/nymph style hook with a 60 degree bend at the eye. This is a copy of our 551 offering but with a traditionally turned eye. Used as a jig it allows for an increased bead size without fear of sliding over the eye.

This is a 1X long length hook with a 2X gape. It has a 60 degree down eye and is formed from a heavy weight wire. Available in sizes #10 to #18.

This is an excellent hook for streamer style flies. Whether you are tying bottom dwelling sculpin or crawler patterns or marabou jig style, this hook will be a must have on your bench

This is a streamer length (2X) jig hook with a 2X gape. It has a 90 degree up eye and is formed from a heavy weight wire. Available in sizes #2 to #8.

The SS is a standard straight shank intended for use paired with the 714 or other intruder style hooks.  One end of the shank has a traditional hook eye; the other end is straight (similar to what you might have if you trimmed the hook off a sacrificial hook).

The SS is a straight shank formed of 1.1 mm carbon steel. It is available in four lengths; 0.75", 1.0", 1.5", and 2.25".

The 633 is a 1X length nymph hook perfect for bead head patterns. It is a great choice for anything with a bead.

This is a 1X long length hook with a 2X gape. It has a down eye and is formed from a heavy weight wire. 

Relatively new to the fly fishing scene, these are beastly. A lighter version of the popular Aki hook.  Designed with an in-line point along with finer wire for superior hook penetration.  Features include Super Needle Point, Black Chrome finish, and a forged shank.. This is a great bonefish hook.

This material is a soft rubbery chenille ideal for bodies (Pat's Rubberleg?) and chewing gum worms. The soft material is mounted on a nano core so it can be easily stripped of to tie in. The

gum is buoyant so when tied in to flies it will slow down their sink rate. This has proven very deadly when creating worm patterns. The fly sinks very slowly holding in the kill box for longer. Tie in a bead if you want to fish it under a bung.

The material has a soft curl to it so any movement will kick life into the worm as the curl opens out and then returns. The chewing gum material is very lumpy giving it a more life like appearance.
