Popularized by competition anglers, the France Fly follows a winning design formula: jig hook and bead, stiff tail, slim and segmented body, and hot spot. Simply put, this fly has become a workhorse for competition anglers. We've had success with this pattern across water types and locations. We can't imagine not having this fly in mulitple sizes, weights, and colors. This fly is tied on a Hanak 450BL and is available in Brown, Black, and Olive.

Created by Larry Graham, the Lightning Bug Nymph can be used as a searching nymph, but will probably draw more strikes when used as a Pale morning dun emerger. Either way, this is an excellent nymph to fly fish with.
By tying this fly with a tungsten bead, the fly sinks quickly, where big trout prefer to feed, and the jig hook helps keep the fly from hooking the bottom of the river.

Fashioned from the Duracell Jig Nymph, this fly is tied to be durable. The mix of materials is unique: ice dub, wire, and a CDC collar. Based on Colorado's world-class guide and tyer Landon Mayer's Mini Leech, this is a jig pattern that will produce in many scenarios including: High water conditions, Low light, Dead drifted as a point fly, On the swing at the end of a drift, or Stripped, either by itself or as the trailer in a two-fly streamer rig. Leeches are a high protein meal for fish. While many of us think about leeches as the large, worm-like slugs we saw in the classic Stand By Me, most freshwater leeches are small, highly active swimmers. Landon's choice of micro pine squirrel and osterich herl mimic both of these characteristics in a way that is often irresisable to fish. Add a bright "LOOK AT ME" bead, and what fish can look past this fly?

Pat's Rubberleg Stonefly is a simple Stonefly pattern that has fooled trout for decades. And, if you cross tying a Jiggy Pat's Rubberleg while listening to 90's Hip Hop by "2 In the Room" you might get a Jiggy Pat's Rubberleg to "Wiggle it, Just a Little Bit..." It's a terrible song, and music video is worse. That said, the video begins with a guy rowing a drift boat into the ocean while wearing short white shorts. What?!?! Completely random. What's not random is that articulation tends to make "great" even better. This is an interesting next step on a modern take of a classic. We expect this will be our go-to stonefly from now on.
