These are nicely made flies, especially at this price point. Haven't caught anything with them yet, but I think that's on me. I wish they offered a barb-less option.

Ok. I am an avid fly fisherman, guide and fly tyer. I use a different version of this fly. My unique pattern has caddis green dubbing with a red wire rib. The hackle and thorax are the same. By far this is the most effective caddis pattern I have ever used. My largest rainbow, 28", was caught on this fly on the Green River, NC. I have used it everywhere in NC, SC, GA for trout. I have never been disappointed. Try tying it in size 18 and 20. Tie it on and hang on. By far the best fly ever made.

I always tie a dropper nymph behind my “main fly” like a streamer, grasshopper imitation, or small popper. This fly selection will make a great addition to my arsenal.

I’ve been using y’all‘s flies for many years! Literally go through hundreds of them. This flie is used when I’m seeing as many sheepshead as redfish. Both species love this flie! Good sharp hooks keep them hooked up!!
