Classic Stonefly pattern, legendary in the Roaring Fork Valley of the Colorado Rocky Mountains as a go to Stonefly pattern or Green Drake Nymph. Rubber legs make it even more enticing. Fish in tandem with a Wired Brown Stonefly.
This is one of my favorite patterns from Discount Flies. I very often use this as an anchor fly in double nymph rigs and catch fish with this year round. I always like to have at least a half dozen or more of these with me anytime I'm on the water.
Great attractor pattern!

I fished this last weekend as an attractor with a small soft hackle dropped off below. Honestly, it didn't work very well as an attractor b/c all the fish seemed to ignore the dropper and go for this one! First of many fish was a 26+" bow!
VERY EFFECTIVE RUBBER LEG NYMPH

Bought this nymph before heading out to ten mile river in dover plains , new york. used it when there was overcast and very light rain. caught a 16" brown on my 5th or 6th cast. then followed few more browns after that. i was feeling fantastic but only thing is if they made them in size 14 and 16 hook size...it will be even better.
