This nymph pattern is very effective on trout streams in NC Pennsylvania. We fish it as an all season pattern.

I have been waiting for quite a while for these to come back in stock. I ordered and received 3 dozen & immediately after they arrived ordered another 50 based on the quality of these flies. I used this fly to land a nice 20" brown in a Pennsylvania spring creek in late October. As usual in spring creeks, less is more and smaller is better. A very useful fly.
