Started fishing this pattern in May of this year… a nearby spring-fed creek…thru mid-August, I've recorded, in my Fishing Log, 378 takes
on this pattern. I learned early that I had more takes on the mutilated (sans eyes) form of the fly.. so when I now change to a new fly, I clip off the eyes..
and the takes continue.
