I just stumbled across your site in search of brown wolly buggers. They had been the fly of choice for smallies in our area and I had a nice one steal my last one from me. Not wanting to drive an hour each way in construction to the nearest fly shop that had them, I did a quick Google search and found your site. So glad I did. This fly is my most productive fly for spring/fall fishing in the mountains of NC. It would be even better if it were available in size 14!

Fish seem to love this nymph in the fall, but it is hard to cast with the big size and heavy beadhead, and it loves to catch on the bottom. What would be perfect would be if it came in sizes 14-16 with a beadhead half the size.
