Beadhead Crystal Bugger - Olive - A great all-round fish catcher. We've caught hundreds of fish on tthe Beadhead Crystal Bugger in Olive. Works really well in smaller sizes when fishing in ponds and lakes for warm-water species as well as trout. Use it as the lead fly on a short leader and drop off another bugger in a different color and watch your line straighten! Larger sizes work in still water as well, of course, but we prefer to throw the larger-size olive buggers when fishing in rivers for trout.

The fix applied to resolve the unraveling of crystal body worked. In fact fishing the fly this weekend, I was very impressed how well the fly stood up to the "punishment". The normal thing that happens which is what you expect, is the maribou gets chewed up. The new maribou feather was an improvement, it looks better in the water. Also I noticed the crystal body was a different color. The former had a copper tint to it. I will have to see if this will affect early spring fishing. Judging by this weekend my bet is it won't. Sorry I couldn'y attach a picture for you to witness what caused the punishment. Very glad to being business with you folks!! Thanks for being so responsive, Lou
