This fly gets nice and translucent in the water, it's a great pattern to tie on when your naturals aren't producing - I'll always attach it as a dropper in a 2-fly nymph rig and give it a few good drifts before switching - usually the bright color and juicy appearance will give me a strike on the first drift. Deadly on stockers!
