Description
Beetles are among the terrestrial flies, not normally available to trout, but are blown into rivers, mainly along the edges, and become available to fish at this time. Try casting the flying loco beetle along overhanging grass or over the edge of undercut banks.

...and at a good price, too. I am very pleased with my purchase. Turn around time was short and shipping cost was reasonable. So many companies use shipping AND HANDLING as a revenue stream. Discount Flies does not and I appreciate that.

Over several years of traveling to high mtn. lakes I have found that nothing works better than ants and beetles. The loco takes it's fair share of fish at elevation and is super durable. I highly recommend this fly to anyone that fishes for trout in alpine lakes.

Great looking fly that produces surface strikes. Only gave it four stars because it needs floatant to float high.
