Description
Baetis mayflies hatch throughout most of the year, and the blue-winged olive patterns match this small mayfly very well. Trout can be fickle, so carry several "flavors" of the baetis mayfly, including the blue-winged olive, the blue-winged olive hatchmaster and the blue-winged olive thorax.

Where I fish in Wisconson, the extended body BWO dimensions are critical…these are perfect dimension.

The extended body parachute bwo is a great fly in March/April on the streams in Wisconsin. I caught 20+ fish in under an hour using this fly. I hooked really strong, chunky 16 inch brown with a size 20 and it held up during the several minutes it took to bring the fish to hand.
