This fly pattern has been very effective for smallmouth bass when fish over gravel bars that drop into pockets and pools. The takes are very exciting and the fly elicits hard strikes.

Excellent flure (fly lure) I just put it out there ands the bass came by to sweep it up. Used a 4 wt. fly rod and the weight was not too heavy.

Just ordered a few of these and am very happy so far. Have yet to get to try them out, but the quality is excellent and the price can't be beat. Looking forward to wetting these and seeing what the fish think about them!
