As one of the most recognized fly patterns, the Hare's ear nymph has a history with every fly angler alive, and for good reason. Not many bugs can offer the bugginess, natural mottled color, and insect diversity that the Hare's Ear Nymph imitates. Add a little flashback and this bug will get noticed in off-color water or low light conditions. Fish this pattern with a Pheasant Tail Nymph, or below a Elk Caddis.

The Juju Emerger is a brillant mayfly emerger pattern. As we've stated previously, Shane Stalcup was one of the fly tying giants we admired when learning to tie and fish. This pattern has aspects of Stalcup's Swimming May and CDC Emerging Dun, but done with materials and from the mind of another giant in the fly tying world.
While we occasionally fish this alone, we like to trail this behind a Hi-Viz Parachute BWO or Parachute Adams.
