This floatant caught our attention with its name, but we quickly found out that it is a seriously effective floatant!
- For best results, pre-treat the fly a day ahead of time.
- Fly Agra also works well on the river. Dip the fly, false cast a few times to dry the fly, and your ready to fish.
- This is extremely effective at floating CDC flies.

Double Duty Fly Treatment. Great stuff. We use this to treat dry flies AND nymphs. When treating dries, the brush applicator allows the powder to be worked into every nook and cranny. Treating nymphs will put an air bubble around them that looks like an emerging insect. Doubtful? Try it -- or don't.

Gink is one of the most well known dry fly floatants, and is also extremely effective at skating salmon and steelhead streamers.

Amadou is primarily composed of a mushroom: "Fomes fomentarius", and its primary purpose is taking soggy, water-logged, good-for-nothing dry flies and getting them ready to fish again. A simple squeeze between the two pads of this magical material sucks out water from a drowned fly, restoring its ability to float. Though it stands alone as a means of keeping flies floating, it is best viewed as a piece of the dry fly puzzle that includes some kind of dip or gel, and/or a powder floatant.
