Description
The Clouser Minnow is a fly with a wide variety of species caught to it's credit. (Lefty Kreh claims to have caught over 85 species on this fly!) It is an effective pattern for any predator fish found in freshwater or saltwater.
The fly was designed to imitate baitfish. Be prepared with several color combinations to match the local baitfish.
This fly is now being tied on a Gamakatsu SL-11 3H hook, one of the strongest and sharpest hooks available. The extra cost of this hook is worth every penny when you hook-up with a fish of a lifetime!

The chartreuse clouser was THE fly for on shore fishing in Bahia Concepcion south of Mulege. Caught lots of Sea Bass and Trigger Fish. The flies held up very well in the rocks.
