Description
The Clouser Minnow is a fly with a wide variety of species caught to it's credit. (Lefty Kreh claims to have caught over 85 species on this fly!) It is an effective pattern for any predator fish found in freshwater or saltwater.
The fly was designed to imitate baitfish. Be prepared with several color combinations to match the local baitfish.
This fly is now being tied on a Gamakatsu SL-11 3H hook, one of the strongest and sharpest hooks available. The extra cost of this hook is worth every penny when you hook-up with a fish of a lifetime!

I was casting these guys for days into surf and getting lots of attention from angelfish. Brother cast them on bass first time fishing and they sure took a beating but still in great shape. If you don't catch on these, it's either user error or wrong fish.
