The Copper J (compare to a Copper John) is a combination of three very effective nymph patterns, the prince nymph, the brassie, and the pheasant tail. The pattern is very effective, and has become just as popular as any other nymph that we sell. The red color is our most popular color, and is a must for your fly box. Tie the red copper j on as your top fly. It is very effective at drawing the attention of fish, then the second nymph passes, and the fish will nail the bottom fly!
