Doug's XB Hex

Fishing the rivers of the mid-western and western United States from May into early October, you’ll experience hatches in the late afternoon and evening of North America’s largest mayfly, the Hexagenia. Big and beautiful, the XB Hex has a two toned yellow body and wing-profile that hungry trout can see coming from a long way off in low light or pitch dark conditions. With its closed-cell foam body, antron wing and dun cut hackle, the XB Hex is almost unsinkable and nearly indestructible. But, on any given day, the fish will have the final word on that claim!
