This tarpon pattern was developed by Kirk Seeley & guide Edwin Patron for fishing both baby and adult tarpon of Isla Blanca, Mexico. In fishing the fly, we found it to be easy to cast and caught the interest of tarpon that were not interested in anything else. This is a great Back Country Tarpon Fly, and recommended for Central America, Cuba and Mexico Tarpon.
The hook is one of the most important parts of this fly, and we spare no expense. The fly is tied on a Gamakatsu SL12s 1X Short, which will give you the best chance at catching the Silver King! This adds to the cost, but when you hook up with a beast, this top notch hook will perform very well.
