This is the dubbing twister we use most. Solidly built and a smooth action. The design keeps your dubbing loop open while you add material. Then, simply pull down and the loop closes as the tines come together. While continuing to pull down, twist the smooth brass wheel.
Tip: if you want the twister to spin faster and smooth, add a drop of olive oil or avacado oil. A little goes a long way.

Tools are silver and gold and come in a tan, cordura tool roll. Each tool is secured by elastic webbing. When all the tools are packed, the case can be rolled and secured with velcro.
The closed tool roll measures 3.5 x 7 x 1 inches. If you have an old cowboy friend that still carrys a checkbook in a leather bi-fold with decorative stamping, this looks a lot like that.

This is a tool that makes frequently used items more accessible and keeps you organized. We aren't sure how we ever tied without it. Made from a single stock of steel, this tool bar is solid. Total length is six inches with a diameter 3/4 inch.

Bobbins are the critical tool in tying since they must keep smooth tension on the thread spool to apply the thread to your fly. These bobbins have delrin feet for smooth tension on the thread spool, and have ceramic inserts for smooth application of thread to fly. This is important for small threads and threads like Nano Silk. These funnel shaped inserts allow for a smoother application of thread or other materials as the bobbin is rotated, and they cause less breakage than traditional pipe or straight edged inserts.
These are large, heavy duty bobbins...great for streamers, bass bugs, and saltwater flies.
The total length is 5 inches. The tube -- from the thread insert end to the tip -- is 2.5 inches.

4" razor scissors that are very sharp. Note: the tips are purposely blundt...the point here is the razor sharp blades.
Caution: Do not over tighten the thumb screw! High tension is unnecessary for their ideal operation and may strip the threads.
