Gave this fly a try as I have had solid results with the original prince nymph #14. Fished it in the same size (Purple) and used it as my attractor fly. It fished really good and I have since reordered it 2X and just bought some #16's in yellow. This can be a year-round attractor pattern that mimics stoneflies and larger mayflies (PMD and above).

The purple psycho has become my go-to fly for trout and steelhead. It has produced on multiple rivers under multiple conditions.. I've ordered from other sites, but not so happy with the product. This fly has the right sparkle to make it magic.

If you haven't used this fly yet, you are missing out :) Try this one in the right size anywhere even on tail waters and hold on. If weighted right this fly can produce just about anywhere.

This fly out produced a standard prince nymph and the guides choice on a recent trip to the Driftless area. It is also a delicacy for Illinois "trout" otherwise known as creek chub.
