Don't limit yourself to fishing this buggy creature to just Montana. It works well as a searching pattern, and as a stonefly or mayfly nymph.

On a pond the 14 and 18 are great for Bluegill and Sunfish. Its a great pattern for beginners when used with a bubble on light spin tackle. The wire wrapped body and rubber legs hold up to a lot of abuse. I have caught more than a dozen fish on one fly. If fish are tentative and just nipping it, I'll tip the hook with a Berkley Power Bait waxie red or chartreuse and let the fun begin!
