Description
Troy Bachman developed the slick water caddis pattern to identically imitate a dry, non-fluttering caddis. The parachute adds to the flies buoyancy, and the appearance of legs to a trout.

the #16 tan Slickwater caddis saved my fishing trip again this year in Colorado. The trout on the Taylor and Gunnison prefer caddis over most bugs after the green drakes are gone. For years i have been frustrated with the caddis hatches until i tried the slickwater caddis. Easy to see and big fish will eat it in fast water. Can't find as good a version of this fly in the local shops so bring dozens with you!
