This pattern is also known as the Colorado Green Drake. The Green Drake is one of the largest mayflies that trout have available to them in their diet. The green drake hatches mid-day, and will cause trout to completely abandon any other type of food. They love this mayfly!

I've used these on my last two trips, the most recent just this past August. They hold up well, and the browns gobble 'em up once the hatch is on. Not unusual to fool a rainbow as an added plus. Great flies, Great fly shop.
