Description
The Chubby Chernobyl is a big improvement on a Chernobyl Ant, adding a bouyant and highly visible wing to a fly that already catches tons of fish.
This fly is used to imitate a hopper, stonefly and skwalla. It is also fished as an attractor pattern.
This fly is a great choice of fly to use as a hopper dropper, since it can easily float most tungsten bead nymphs.

Durable, floats well, and highly visible. Draws strikes from trout of all sizes but the small ones often don't hook up. It's a great fly for fishing a dry-dropper rig in turbulent water. If your dry keeps getting swamped and sinking, use one of these. Also a good pattern for sunfish.
