Dave Skok's Strong Arm Merkin has become one of the most important Permit flies, winning or placing in many Florida Keys Tournaments. Jan Isley's Raghead Crab has been a go-to since the 80s. Nick Denbow's vision of these two flies mashed together is what we're calling the Mayan Claw. "Give 'em the claw...the claw...you know, the claw?"
Fished in the surf or on the flats, this fly has been tested and produced in all situations.
