The Gurgler is an excellent top-water fly pattern. This pattern attracts fish because of the foam lip, which creates a wake on the water as the fly is stripped. Bubbles are created behind the fly, which is equally enticing. The Gurgler is effective for many saltwater species, including seatrout, striped bass, redfish, and snook, and effective for freshwater pike and bass.
