Hooked several baby tarpon and a few big bones,6-7+lbs. It looks like I overrode my #6 review. If so: That is THE bonefish bug at
Los Roques. It can work at times on fussy Permit and Pompano, too.

It worked great at Los Roques! The minnow requires gluing (sp?) on nose and tail, that done, it's good for several fish.

I landed a nice tarpon on a brown gummy minnow 1/0 off Placencia, Belize (part of a grand slam on my second day of tropical ocean fly fishing). I jumped several others. This happened on my first cast after several hours of fishing more traditional tarpon flies with not takes. The fly was an almost perfect match for the loads of bait fish in the lagoon.
