These flies are tied on TMC 811S hooks, which have been known to break. We recommend that these flies be considered single-use (single hook-up) flies, although these hooks have broken on the first hook-up. There is a boatload of information on the web detailing this issue and how a different hook set might help alleviate some of these challenges. Before purchasing these flies, please carefully consider if this is the right hook for you especially in light of the known breakage issues. We will not be offering replacements or refunds for these flies.
