Product Description

The Caddis Poopah Brown will outfish nearly all other caddis nymphs and emergers.
We tie this fly on a Daiichi 1530 hook, which is twice as strong as the typical hook you can get for this fly, and won't open up with a big fish!
Note: This product contains wildlife, which cannot be exported beyond the U.S. and its territories.

This particular pattern has become my new go-to fly! I have purchased hundreds of flies from discount and I’ve been satisfied with everything from hook to everlasting and deadly accurate craftsmanship! This pattern has been in my arsenal for 2 seasons before I tied one on and I’m sorry I didn’t sooner! A nice stretch I fished hard turned in no results. Being dissatisfied, I decided to try again using the brown poopah and after 4 hours of nothing, that fly landed over 20 trout in about 50 yards of the stretch! Very nice work as always!

I just placed another order, many of which I will share with my 23yr-old daughter just learning to fly fish. We just fished the Roaring Fork area in CO and had a great time using several flies from the last order. In particular, she used the caddis poobah beadhead larvae and the rainbows (big) loved them. There was a tremendous evening hatch but the larvae were very successful during the day. Neither local shop had anything close!

I bought some of your Caddis Poopah a couple years ago, but never got around to using them until this spring and summer. They proved to be by far my most effective caddis pupa pattern especially in brown. They have become a go to pattern for me.

I bought some of these caddis Poopah in brown a couple years ago, tossed them in my caddis box and never tried them until last week. I ran out of my usual caddis pupa pattern and decided to give these a try. I caught fish after fish - including a 26" rainbow - and gave my last one to my guide who was astounded by how well it worked!
