Product Description

•••••
The Baetis Emerger Flashback imitates the small baetis nymph as it ascends the water column to hatch out and become an adult.

Emerging baetis mayflies are at their most vulnerable when emerging, and fish love an easy meal.

The flashback on the thorax represents the nymphal shuck breaking apart so that the adult mayfly can emerge.

The Baetis Emerger Flashback is particularly effective for the following Mayfly Hatches:
  • Baetis
  • Flav or Lesser Green Drake

On my first cast, a HUGE 'bow came out of the water to suck it in. And then ran downstream and broke off. I will order more.

Great Flies and Quick Delivery

Every order I have placed has been delivered very quickly and the quality of the flies has been outstanding. I tie many of my own flies but the 20+ sizes are becoming a challenge and I appreciate how quickly I can get top-notch flies for the trips my wife and I make.

This pattern doesn't look very buggy to me...but it does to the fish. It's a Barr's Emerger or pretty darn close. First day out after receiving these and many other flies, cloudy morning/early afternoon. Fish keyed on these for many hours...double digits in the net! If you are fishing a stretch with a lot of baetis...you can be sure pre-hatch...this will light them up!
