Description Simplicity, there's something to be said about simple bugs...they work, and work well. The Cousin It is a perfect example of a simple fly. Designing a simple fly is often far more difficult to do well than intricate patterns. Stripping away all but the necessary atributes, Chris Schrantz designed a pattern that resembles Hoppers, Stoneflies and many terrestrial insects based on how the fly presents itself.  This guide fly floats all day, suspends droppers like the Micro Golden Stone with ease, and is a fantastic small mountain stream attractor pattern.

Description There are arguably only 2 dry fly patterns you need to be successful...and the Stimulator is one of them. Randall Kaufmann created one of the best known attractor patterns we know of. A stonefly, terrestrial, moth...regardless, it gets eaten all day long. Add some flash to that and you have an easier to see version. Add some Rubber legs and you have an even more enticing version

Description
The Chubby Chernobyl is a big improvement on a Chernobyl Ant, adding a bouyant and highly visible wing to a fly that already catches tons of fish.

This fly is used to imitate a hopper, stonefly and skwalla. It is also fished as an attractor pattern.

This fly is a great choice of fly to use as a hopper dropper, since it can easily float most tungsten bead nymphs.

Description This fly is likely considered as the same "species" as a Chubby Chernobyl, but related in the same way that a large timber wolf is related to a wiley coyote. This is the coyote; perfect for holding up a small dropper and small enough to fish by itself. This fly is desgined to float well and be highly visible.

The stonefly hatch is as exciting for fishermen as it is for fish. Beginning in March, these bugs are high floating, highly visible meals for trout and exciting to throw! They represent a big meal for trout.

While Stoneflies (Plecoptera) can be found in many rivers in the U.S., they are most abundant in Western rivers. These are generally large bugs and fish like big meals!

The large Pteronarcyida (Pteronarcys) or Salmonfly begin their hatch in early May, with the hatch winding down in June.

Golden Stoneflies (Perlidae or Perlid) begin hatching in May and the hatch extends intermittently through September.

Little Golden Stoneflies (Chloroperlidae) hatch June - September
