    This fly is my most productive fly for spring/fall fishing in the mountains of NC. It would be even better if it were available in size 14!

    Splendid fly. Catches fish when the trout are tired of seeing the same wooly buggers.

    Fish seem to love this nymph in the fall, but it is hard to cast with the big size and heavy beadhead, and it loves to catch on the bottom. What would be perfect would be if it came in sizes 14-16 with a beadhead half the size.

    The fly is well made and very durable after being hit many times. It drives fish crazy whether stripping it in straight or bouncing it off the bottom of the stream bed - fish respond to it. I even caught an 8 inch grass pickerel on it yesterday, 11/24
