The genus Ephemerella mayfly, or pale morning dun represents the largest mayfly hatch in North America, both in sheer numbers of insects and the number of rivers that they are found in. We weren't sure where to list this fly…as a nymph or dry! Fish it half in, and half out by putting floatant on the wings, and letting the lower half of the fly sink. There is no better imitation of an emerging pale morning dun that the Realistic PMD Emerger.
